Phil Industries supplies 168+ ESD packaging SKUs in Singapore — metallised shielding bags, moisture-barrier bags (MBBs), pink anti-static poly bags, conductive black bags, conductive trays, ESD foam, IC tubes and partition sheets — with ex-stock availability and same-day pickup. Last updated: 17 May 2026.

All packaging is sourced from manufacturers whose products meet ANSI/ESD S541 (packaging for ESD-sensitive items), IEC 61340-5-3, EIA-625 and IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 (for MBBs and moisture-sensitive devices) where applicable.

ESD Packaging Range

Static-shielding bags — metallised polyester laminate with Faraday-cage shielding, the default for PCBs and finished semiconductor devices.
Moisture barrier bags (MBBs) — aluminised foil bags for MSL-2/3/4/5 components, used with desiccant and humidity indicator cards per J-STD-033.
Pink anti-static poly bags — low-cost dissipative bags for non-shielding-required electronics and intra-facility transfer.
Conductive black poly bags & tubing — carbon-loaded polyethylene for bulk conductive packaging.
Conductive trays and JEDEC matrix trays — reusable trays for semiconductor IC handling and pick-and-place feeders.
ESD foam — conductive and dissipative foam for pin protection, cushioning and IC carriers.
IC tubes and tape & reel — conductive tubes for SMD storage; tape and reel for automated SMT lines.
ESD partition sheets and corrugated boxes — conductive black-frosted PP and double-wall corrugated.
ESD labels, tape and document holders — EPA signage and traceability.

Frequently Asked Questions — ESD Packaging

What’s the difference between an anti-static bag, a shielding bag and a moisture-barrier bag?
A pink anti-static bag prevents triboelectric charge generation but does not shield against external ESD events — use it for non-sensitive intra-facility transfer. A metallised shielding bag forms a Faraday cage that blocks external static fields and is the default for shipping PCBs and ICs. A moisture-barrier bag (MBB) adds an aluminium foil layer to block water vapour, used with desiccant and HIC for moisture-sensitive components per J-STD-033.

How do I choose the right packaging for my components?
Match the packaging class to the device’s MSL and ESD sensitivity. For Class 0 HBM devices (<250 V), use shielding bags inside conductive boxes. For MSL-3/4/5 components, always use MBBs with desiccant. For finished consumer PCBs, shielding bags are usually sufficient. Phil Industries can advise on packaging selection for specific BOMs.

Are your ESD packaging products compliant with ANSI/ESD S541 and J-STD-033?
Yes — Phil Industries' shielding bags, MBBs, anti-static bags and conductive packaging are sourced from manufacturers whose products carry ANSI/ESD S541 compliance certification. MBBs additionally comply with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033 for moisture-sensitive device handling. Certificates of Conformance and batch test reports are available on request.

What is the minimum order quantity for ESD bags?
Most shielding and anti-static bags are stocked in standard sizes (76×102 mm up to 460×610 mm) and available in single packs of 100. Production-line replenishment usually starts at 10 packs (1,000 bags) with tiered volume pricing. Custom sizes and printing are available with 2–3 week lead time.

ESD boxes are used to store and move PCBs, ICs and finished assemblies within an ESD-protected area. What is an IC tray?An IC tray (or JEDEC matrix tray) is a conductive, heat-resistant tray with moulded pockets that hold integrated circuits in place during handling, testing and transport while preventing static damage. What is the difference between an ESD box and an ESD tray?An ESD box is an enclosed container for storing or transporting components in bulk, while an ESD tray (such as an IC or JEDEC tray) holds individual components in fixed positions for handling and automated processing. Both are static-safe — choose a box for bulk storage and a tray for organised component handling.Do you supply ESD boxes and IC trays in Singapore?Yes.
