What is the difference between a torque screwdriver and a torque wrench?
A torque screwdriver covers small fasteners, typically below 15 N·m, and is driven in line with the screw; a torque wrench covers larger bolts and is driven from the side. Consequently, electronics and medical assembly almost always use screwdrivers.
How accurate is a Mountz torque screwdriver?
Preset FG drivers meet ISO 6789 at ±6% of the set value, and each tool ships with a calibration certificate; however, accuracy only holds while the tool is checked on a torque analyser at the interval your quality system sets.
