Mountz power assembly tools are the powered side of the Mountz torque range: electric torque screwdrivers, DC-controlled and transducerized fastening systems, air screwdrivers and pulse tools, plus the transformers, cables and production aids that keep them running. Phil Industries, an authorised Mountz distributor in Singapore, supplies the complete catalogue with controller pairing advice, on-site demonstrations and after-sales support.

What is in the range

Group What it covers Start here
Electric screwdrivers (102 products) Clutch, brushless, current-control, transducerized and robotic electric torque screwdrivers with their controllers The electric screwdrivers overview compares the four control methods
Pneumatic tools XP-Series air screwdrivers in in-line, pistol grip and right angle forms, and Flex Power auto shut-off pulse tools Air-powered stations where speed and low reaction matter
Power tool accessories Transformers for every clutch screwdriver series, screw-counter transformers, cables, adapters, magnetizers and pistol grip attachments Order with the tool, because each series has its own transformer
Pneumatic tool accessories Filter regulators, couplers, air hose and tool stands Clean, regulated air keeps an air screwdriver repeatable
Production tool aids Torque arms and supports that absorb reaction and hold the tool square to the joint Pair with tool balancers and screw presenters

Electric or pneumatic?

Electric screwdrivers dominate Singapore electronics and precision assembly because they are quiet, clean and controllable, and the DC-controlled versions record every fastening. Pneumatic screwdrivers and pulse tools still win where the line already runs on air, where duty cycles are extreme, or where a pulse tool’s low reaction torque protects the operator on larger fasteners. However, an air tool needs a filter regulator and a stable supply, otherwise torque drifts with the pressure.

Building a complete station

  • First, pick the screwdriver family from the electric screwdrivers page, or an XP air screwdriver for pneumatic lines.
  • Next, add the matching transformer or controller; a clutch tool without its transformer will not run.
  • Then support the tool with a torque arm or balancer, so the operator guides rather than carries it.
  • Finally, add error-proofing where the product needs it: a screw counter transformer, a bit socket tray or a DC controller with I/O.

To verify what the station delivers, use a Mountz torque analyzer with a run-down adapter for power tools. Our engineers’ guide on choosing the right torque tool covers the hand-tool alternatives.

Frequently asked questions about power assembly tools

Which power assembly tool suits PCB assembly?

A clutch or current-control electric screwdriver in the low-torque band, ESD safe, on a torque arm or balancer. Add screw counting if boards leave the station with missing screws.

Do Mountz power tools come with the transformer or controller?

No, they are quoted separately because several tools can share one controller and because supply voltage differs by country. We always quote the Singapore 230 V version with the tool.

Can you service and support the tools locally?

Yes. Phil Industries provides demonstrations, set-up help, genuine spare parts and after-sales support from Singapore.

How quickly can you deliver?

Common electric screwdrivers, transformers and accessories are held in local stock; factory items are quoted with lead time. Send us the model or the joint specification and we will confirm.
