Atrix vacuums are specialist portable vacuum cleaners built for environments where an ordinary vacuum would cause damage — capturing toner, fine particulate and static-sensitive debris without contaminating the workspace or harming electronics. Phil Industries is an authorised Atrix distributor in Singapore, carrying the full range ex-stock with same-week delivery across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Two focus environments. The Atrix range we hold in Singapore centres on the two settings where an ordinary vacuum does real harm: Electronics, ESD & Toner work — capturing static-sensitive debris and toner without damaging boards or spreading fines — and Cleanroom & Medical environments, where HEPA/ULPA filtration and low-particle construction keep the controlled space controlled. For abatement and hazardous dust, Critical Area vacuums cover the specialist third.

Compare the Atrix vacuum series

Series Format Filtration Best for
Omega Canister HEPA / ULPA / Ultrafine Semiconductor, electronics & demanding cleanroom work
Express Compact canister HEPA Benchtop and field service
High Capacity Large tank HEPA Print rooms & cartridge remanufacturing
Canister Canister HEPA General precision & electronics cleaning
Backpack Worn (Ergo / Ergo Pro) HEPA Large floor areas, stairwells, aviation
Stick Upright cordless HEPA Fast daily pickup in offices & labs
Cordless Battery (~55 min) HEPA Field service where there is no outlet
Critical Area Canister HEPA / antimicrobial Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom & medical

Filtration: HEPA vs ULPA

  • HEPA — captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. Suits most electronics, toner and laboratory cleaning.
  • ULPA — captures 99.999% down to 0.12 microns. Specified for the most critical cleanrooms and lowest particle counts.
  • Sealed / immediate containment — the cartridge traps fine toner and sub-micron dust inside the machine so it cannot blow back into the room.

Why an ESD-safe vacuum?

  • Conductive, grounded housing and hose provide a static path to earth instead of generating charge.
  • Protects static-sensitive components and assemblies in electronics and semiconductor environments.
  • A standard shop vacuum can discharge static into a board and destroy devices — an ESD-safe unit will not.

Where Atrix vacuums are used

  • Semiconductor fabs and electronics manufacturing
  • Cleanrooms, laboratories and critical areas (ISO 5 – ISO 8)
  • Data centres and IT hardware maintenance
  • Printer, copier and toner-cartridge servicing
  • Aviation MRO, facilities and commercial cleaning

Frequently asked questions

What is an ESD-safe vacuum and why do I need one?

An ESD-safe vacuum has a conductive, grounded housing, hose and tools, so it dissipates static instead of generating it. This protects sensitive components in electronics and semiconductor environments, where an ordinary vacuum could discharge static and damage devices.

Can Atrix vacuums safely recover toner?

Yes. Atrix toner-recovery vacuums use sealed HEPA filtration designed to capture fine toner during printer, copier and cartridge servicing, keeping it inside the machine rather than venting back into the air.

Are Atrix vacuums suitable for cleanrooms?

Yes. HEPA and ULPA models are built for cleanroom and critical-area use, capturing sub-micron particulate without re-contaminating the controlled space. Antimicrobial Class 100 (ISO 5) units are available for medical environments.

Which Atrix series should I choose?

Use the comparison table above: Omega for the most demanding ESD/cleanroom work, Express for portability, High Capacity for toner volume, Backpack or Cordless for mobility, and Critical Area for ISO-classified rooms.
