Genuine Bimos chair parts and accessories — footrests, foot rings, armrests, castors, glides, gas lifts and seat/backrest components. On an ESD chair the parts are not cosmetic: fitting a non-conductive castor or glide breaks the static path to ground and the chair is no longer an ESD control. Phil Industries stocks Bimos chair spares in Singapore.
What’s available
| Part | Purpose | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Castors | Rolling on hard floors; stop-and-go locks until you sit | Must be conductive on ESD chairs |
| Glides | Fixed footing for standing-height stools | Conductive version required for EPAs |
| Foot ring / footrest | Supports feet at high benches | Match to seat height range |
| Gas lift | Height adjustment | Conductive gas lift completes the ESD path |
| Armrests & seat parts | Comfort and replacement | Match the model line (Neon, Nexxit, Labsit…) |
Keep your ESD chairs compliant
- Replace worn castors/glides with conductive equivalents — a standard castor silently defeats the chair.
- Re-test chair resistance after parts changes as part of your ANSI/ESD S20.20 programme.
- Match parts to the model line — Bimos components are not universal.
Frequently asked questions
Can I fit standard castors to an ESD chair?
No. Standard castors are not conductive and break the path to ground, so the chair no longer functions as an ESD control. Always fit conductive replacements.
How do I identify the right part?
Match the chair model line and seat height range. Send us the model or a photo of the label and we’ll identify it.
Do you stock foot rings for high stools?
Yes — foot rings and footrests are available; see Stools & Standing Aids for the matching seating.
