This ESD workbench with task lighting puts light directly over the work zone rather than on the ceiling. Because the light sits close to the board, operators see fine-pitch work without leaning in. Furthermore, an upper shelf lifts instruments clear and drawers take the hand tools. As a result, the worktop stays empty for the job itself.

How to ground an ESD workbench with task lighting

A bench only protects boards once you bond it to earth. In practice, you run a ground cord from the worktop to a common point ground. That point then ties back to the building’s equipment ground. Meanwhile, wrist straps and floor mats plug into the same point. As a result, the operator, the surface and the board all sit at one potential.

Yes. Because the gantry takes standard mounts, we can fit a magnifier or a different luminaire. Therefore, tell us the inspection work and we will specify the light to suit it.
