Cleanroom sticky rollers in Singapore are tacky adhesive lint rollers — polyethylene multi-layer or silicone tacky — used to remove loose particles, hair and fibres from cleanroom garments, wafers, fixtures and machine surfaces before entry into ISO Class 5–8 environments.
Phil Industries supplies 33+ cleanroom sticky roller SKUs in Singapore — handle rollers, refills and silicone tacky rollers in 4″, 6″, 9″ and 12″ widths. Last updated: 17 May 2026.
All rollers comply with IEST-RP-CC003 garment and surface contamination control practices for ISO Class 5 and cleaner facilities. Adhesive coatings are low-outgassing and ammonia-free.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a cleanroom sticky roller?
A cleanroom sticky roller is a tacky cylinder used to lift loose particles, fibres and skin flakes off cleanroom garments and surfaces. It is rolled over a coverall before gowning or across a wafer-handling surface, transferring contaminants to its adhesive layer which is then peeled and discarded.
What is the difference between adhesive and silicone tacky rollers?
Adhesive rollers use 30 stacked sticky PE sheets that are peeled off as they fill with contamination. Silicone tacky rollers are washable rubber that recovers tack after rinsing with DI water, with zero adhesive transfer — preferred for wafer and optics handling where residue is unacceptable.
How often should sticky rollers be replaced?
Peel a fresh layer of a PE adhesive sticky roller whenever the surface is visibly fouled — typically every gowning session. A 30-layer roller lasts about one month per gowning room under typical Singapore operations. Silicone rollers can be rinsed and reused for 12–24 months.
Are sticky rollers ESD safe?
Standard sticky rollers are not ESD-rated. For ESD-controlled cleanrooms, Phil Industries supplies anti-static silicone tacky rollers with surface resistance in the dissipative range, suitable for use in EPAs and semiconductor fabs.
Can sticky rollers be used on wafers?
Yes — but only silicone tacky rollers or wafer-specific adhesive rollers should contact bare wafers. Standard PE adhesive rollers may leave residue and are restricted to garments and tool surfaces, not wafer surfaces.
