Designed to tighten diverse fasteners accurately, break-over wrenches inform their operator when the right torque is reached by deflecting on their built-in hinge. As a result, you can reduce defective products and rework related to over- and under-torque conditions.

With interchangeable heads, Mountz break-over wrenches allow you to switch out heads for tricky fasteners and to get more use out of your existing tools.
NOTE: Head interchangeability is intended for use during recalibration to allow reconfiguring tools for different applications. They are not intended to be interchanged as a normal part of a manufacturing process.

Description
The Mountz TBX break-over wrench is a preset torque wrench for connectors, brackets and small assemblies in Singapore. When the set value is reached the head breaks over, so the operator feels the stop and cannot keep adding torque. Two sizes cover 2.4 to 25 N·m, and both come in ESD versions.

It is a preset wrench whose head pivots when the set torque is reached. The operator feels a clear stop, so almost no extra torque passes after the signal.
Is the TBX ESD safe
The TBX-12 ESD and TBX-25 ESD versions are made for static-sensitive work, so they can be used inside an EPA. The standard versions are for general assembly.
Can I change heads on the TBX
Yes. TBX-12 handles take Type A heads and TBX-25 handles take Type B heads, which lets one calibrated handle serve several fastener or connector sizes.
TBX or TB: what is the difference
The TB covers lower values from 17.7 to 565 cN·m with a fixed head. By contrast, the TBX reaches 25 N·m and takes interchangeable heads.
