Mountz EPT Adjustable Click Wrenches
The EPT is an adjustable click wrench that provides different setting options for applications that require more than one torque value. The adjustable wrench features an external adjustment torque scale, which allows an operator to adjust the torque setting on the tool as needed.
The Mountz EPT wrench offers an easy-to-read dual-scale system (American & S.I.) with a laser-marked scale along the body tube section of the wrench. The robust tool is ideal for field service, maintenance, and production applications.
Strong, robust, and reliable, our click wrenches deliver the power you need to tighten any bolt. More economical than other styles of torque wrenches, click wrenches can also handle far higher torque values.
The metal handle click wrenches are designed with durable all-steel construction and a corrosion-resistant finish and are suitable for various industries like construction, automotive, chemical, nuclear, energy, and other industrial environments.
The EPT click wrench features a lightly knurled, non-slip grip. Designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the accuracy and repeatability requirements of ISO6789:2003, EPT click models offer a torque range from 20 lbf.in – 750 lbf.ft. Suitable for medium and high torque applications.
Fastening Productivity and Process Control:
- Improve field service productivity. Accurately tighten critical fasteners of different sizes—all with a single tool.
- Operational in either American or S.I. torque setting capacity as the wrench features two torque scales. The torque unit scales are laser-marked on the handle, making them easy to read for the operator. The micrometer graduation collar on the handle for adjusting and setting the tool.
- Features a bi-directional ratchet head. Easily switch between CW and CCW operation for tightening or loosening bolts.
- A click sound can be heard and felt when torque is reached.
- The wrench offers a positive lock system with a spring-loaded pull-down ring. Pull down on the ring to adjust the torque setting and release it to lock in the torque setting. The mechanism prevents incidental adjustments made to the torque setting during the fastening process.

Description
The Mountz EPT is an adjustable torque wrench for maintenance, MRO and multi-joint assembly in Singapore. The operator dials the value on the scale, the wrench clicks at that setting, and one tool covers many fastener sizes. Nine models run from 2.8 N·m (EPT100i) to 1,051 N·m (EPT750F).

Where the adjustable torque wrench fits in Singapore
Adjustable click wrenches suit jobs where the torque changes from joint to joint: aircraft MRO hangars at Seletar, facilities teams servicing chillers and pumps, and semiconductor equipment builders assembling frames and manifolds. Because the value is set on the scale, however, the wrench relies on the operator to stop at the click; where that risk matters on a production line, a preset or break-over wrench is the safer choice.
Pair it with
- Wrench adjusting keys to lock or change a setting.
- Hanging loops to tether the wrench when working at height.
- Mountz torque analyzers to verify the wrench on the shop floor between checks.
Frequently asked questions about the adjustable torque wrench
What is an adjustable torque wrench
It is a click wrench with a scale on the handle. The operator sets the required torque, and the wrench gives an audible click and a slight give when that value is reached, so one tool covers many fasteners.
Which EPT model do I need
Choose the model whose range puts your target torque in the middle of the scale. For example, a 20 N·m joint suits the EPT250i (6.2 to 28.8 N·m), while 150 N·m suits the EPT150F (47 to 210 N·m).
How accurate is the Mountz EPT
The EPT is built to ISO 6789, which sets the permissible deviation for click wrenches. Accuracy holds best in the upper part of the range, which is why a mid-scale model is recommended.
Is a torque spanner the same as a torque wrench
Yes. Torque spanner is the common British and Singapore term for the same tool, and the EPT is often requested as an adjustable torque spanner.
