Description
ESDpro AF0115 is a pink ESD TR fabric: a polyester-viscose blend, 65/34, with a 1% carbon grid, at a lab-coat weight of 255 gsm. TR cloths drape and feel like a tailored coat rather than a coverall, so laboratories and inspection rooms choose them for ESD lab coats that staff wear all day. Phil Industries supplies it by the roll from Ubi, Singapore, in pink with other colours to order.
Why a viscose blend for ESD lab coats
Viscose brings the drape and moisture absorption of a natural fibre, while polyester gives the cloth strength and wash stability. Together they make a 255 gsm coat fabric that hangs well and breathes. Because the carbon grid runs through the weave, the coat still measures 10⁶ to 10⁹ Ω, so it counts as an ESD garment when the wearer is grounded.
At 149 to 152 cm wide the roll cuts a full-length coat with few seams. In addition, pink is a common colour code for visitors, trainees or QA teams, so a supervisor can spot the coat across a floor.

Applications
Electronics test labs, calibration rooms, QA inspection areas and pharmaceutical laboratories use AF0115 for ESD lab coats and dust-free workwear, and for colour-coded visitor or trainee coats. For a lighter cleanroom coverall cloth, choose one of our polyester stripe or grid fabrics instead.
Frequently asked questions
Is a TR fabric suitable for a cleanroom?
It suits Class 1000 to 10000 areas and laboratories as a lab coat. For tighter classes, use a 100% polyester cloth, because viscose sheds more fibre than polyester.
Can the coat be qualified as an ESD garment?
Yes. The cloth sits in the dissipative range, so coats made from it qualify when you test them to ANSI/ESD STM2.1 or IEC 61340-4-9. Test the finished coat, because seams and closures affect the result.
How should it be laundered?
On an industrial cycle for polyester-viscose blends, without fabric softener. Because the carbon is woven in, the ESD property does not wash out.
