Description
The Atrix Omega Cordless ESD vacuum (VACO22VESD) is a cordless ESD vacuum built for the jobs a mains-powered unit cannot reach: inside a live server rack, behind an ATM, on a telecom cabinet or at a line-side ESD bench where a trailing cord is a hazard. Its static-dissipative body and accessories give charge a safe path to ground, and its H12 Ultrafine immediate-containment cartridge seals toner and electronics dust for clean disposal. Phil Industries, an authorised Atrix distributor in Singapore, supplies the Omega Cordless ESD with local stock, replacement cartridges, on-site demonstrations and after-sales support.

Why a cordless ESD vacuum changes the job
A corded ESD vacuum works well at a fixed bench. However, most static-sensitive cleaning in Singapore happens somewhere else: a technician kneeling behind a bank kiosk, a data-centre engineer working inside a rack with the doors open, a field engineer servicing a printer fleet across three floors. In those places the cord is the problem, because it is a trip hazard, it needs a socket that may be behind the equipment, and it cannot follow the technician up a ladder. The Omega Cordless ESD removes the cord and keeps everything else: the ESD path to ground, the sealed containment cartridge and the Atrix brushless motor. As a result, one technician can clean a whole row of equipment in one battery charge and dispose of the debris without opening a dust bag.

Where the Omega Cordless ESD fits in Singapore
Data-centre operators use it for rack and floor-tile cleaning during maintenance windows, because it is quiet, cordless and safe next to live equipment. Banks and kiosk maintainers use it on ATM and self-service fleets, where toner and paper dust build up inside enclosures. Telecom and building-services teams carry it between cabinets. On the manufacturing side, EMS and semiconductor lines keep one at the end of the line for ESD-bench and conveyor clean-downs, and repair centres use it at the rework station. Because it is ESD safe, it can live inside the EPA alongside your ESD mats and wrist straps without breaking the grounding scheme.

Frequently asked questions about the cordless ESD vacuum
Is the Atrix Omega Cordless ESD vacuum actually ESD safe?
Yes. The vacuum body, hose and accessories are static-dissipative, so charge generated by airflow and by the operator drains to ground instead of building up on the nozzle. That is what makes it suitable for cleaning inside live server racks, printers, ATMs and populated PCB assemblies where a household vacuum would cause damage.
How long does the battery last and how long does it take to charge?
The 22 V battery runs for more than 30 minutes of continuous vacuuming and recharges in about one hour, which covers a typical service call or a shift-end clean of several workstations.
What does H12 Ultrafine filtration capture?
The one-gallon immediate-containment cartridge is rated by Atrix at 88% efficiency at 0.3 micron with 43 cellulose pleats. It captures toner, including colour toner, and fine electronics dust, and the cartridge is sealed so the debris is disposed of without handling. For HEPA or ULPA certified capture, choose the corded Omega Supreme Plus or the cordless Class H14 model.
Can I use it in a cleanroom?
Atrix rates the Omega Cordless ESD as cleanroom-rated for spot cleaning. For routine cleaning of ISO Class 5 to Class 7 rooms, the Omega Supreme Plus HEPA or ULPA cleanroom versions with exhaust filtration are the better match; our cleanroom vacuum guide explains the choice by ISO class.
Which replacement filter does it use?
It uses the Atrix Omega one-gallon Ultrafine immediate-containment cartridge. Phil Industries stocks replacement cartridges in Singapore, and the built-in indicator light tells the operator when the filter is full.
