Atrix High Capacity HEPA Vacuum (ATIHCTV5CT)
The Atrix High Capacity HEPA vacuum is the five-gallon, ESD-safe workhorse of the Atrix range. A 1,000-hour rated Ametek Advantek II motor pulls 99 CFM through a sealed H13 HEPA filter bucket that is 99.97 percent efficient at 0.3 micron, so fine dust, toner and hazardous particulate are captured and stay contained. When the bucket is full you reseal and dispose of it, without opening a dusty tank. Phil Industries, an authorised Atrix distributor in Singapore, supplies it complete with the 10-foot ESD stretch hose, ESD tools and roller base.

Where the High Capacity HEPA vacuum fits in Singapore
This is the model to specify when a one-gallon Omega is emptied too often. Semiconductor back-end and OSAT floors, EMS lines running solder dross and flux residue, and facilities teams clearing toner from print rooms all generate more debris than a bench vacuum should hold. Because the filter is the bucket, there is no secondary bag to burst and no exposure when changing it, which matters for hazardous particulate. In addition, the whole system is ESD safe from nozzle to motor housing, so it can live inside an ANSI/ESD S20.20 protected area.

What is the difference between the High Capacity HEPA and the Omega vacuums
Capacity and filter grade. Specifically, the High Capacity uses a five-gallon H13 HEPA bucket rated 99.97 percent at 0.3 micron, while the Omega Plus carries a one-gallon ultrafine cartridge. Therefore, choose the High Capacity for heavy debris loads or hazardous particulate.
Is it ESD safe
Yes. In fact, the vacuum, hose and tools provide a static path to ground, which allows it to be used around static-sensitive components and finished assemblies.
How do I change the filter
Lift out the sealed bucket, cap it and dispose of it, then drop in a new 421-000-005 bucket. As a result, there is no loose bag and no need to touch the collected dust.
Can it be used in a cleanroom
It suits ESD and electronics areas and general HEPA containment. However, for ISO 14644-1 Class 5 cleanrooms, look at the Omega Supreme Plus ULPA models in our Atrix cleanroom range.
