Description
Copper Foil Tape – EMI Shielding with Conductive Adhesive
Copper foil tape is a thin copper strip with a conductive adhesive backing, used for EMI/RFI shielding, grounding and static drainage. This version uses a double-sided conductive adhesive, so current passes straight through the adhesive to the surface underneath — giving true electrical continuity for shielding seams, cable wraps and Faraday enclosures rather than just a mechanical stick.
Why conductive adhesive matters
Ordinary copper tape uses a non-conductive glue, so the copper is only grounded where it physically touches bare metal. A conductive-adhesive tape conducts through the bond line itself, meaning overlapping seams and joints stay electrically continuous — essential for reliable EMI shielding and grounding.
Key features
- Double-sided conductive adhesive — electrical continuity through the bond, not just at contact points
- Solid copper foil for EMI/RFI shielding, grounding and static drainage
- Heat- and high-temperature resistant for demanding assembly and rework
- Solderable copper surface for permanent connections
- Standard widths and custom sizes cut to your requirement

Frequently Asked Questions
What is conductive copper foil tape used for?
EMI/RFI shielding, grounding, static drainage and Faraday-cage seams — anywhere you need an electrically continuous, solderable copper surface that can be applied like tape.
What is the difference between conductive and non-conductive adhesive?
Non-conductive adhesive only grounds the copper where it touches bare metal. This tape uses a double-sided conductive adhesive that conducts through the bond line, so overlapping seams stay electrically continuous.
Is the tape solderable and heat-resistant?
Yes. The copper surface is solderable for permanent connections, and the tape is high-temperature resistant for assembly and rework.
Can I get custom widths?
Yes. We supply standard widths and cut custom sizes to your requirement — send us your width, length and quantity.
Do you stock copper foil tape in Singapore?
Yes. Phil Industries supplies EMI shielding copper foil tape in Singapore with fast quotation on stock and custom sizes. Call +65 6555 1745 or send an enquiry.
