Description
ESDpro AF0127 is a heavy anti-static oxford fabric: a 300D cotton-based cloth with 2% conductive filament in a 5 mm grid and a PU coating that is both flame-retardant and waterproof. At 200 gsm and 150 cm wide, in blue, it is the cloth for ESD aprons, equipment covers, bench mats and outer workwear that must shrug off water and sparks. Phil Industries supplies it by the roll from Ubi, Singapore.
Why an oxford weave with a PU coating
Oxford is a basket weave with a 147 × 142 density, so it is far tougher than the light twills used for cleanroom coveralls. The PU coating on AF0127 adds two properties at once: it repels water, and it carries a flame-retardant treatment. Meanwhile, the conductive filament grid underneath keeps the cloth at 10⁶ to 10⁸ Ω with a friction charge under 300 V. As a result, one fabric covers static, splash and flame requirements for an apron or cover.
Because the base is 98% cotton, the uncoated face stays comfortable against the body and takes dye well. In addition, the 150 cm width cuts efficiently for aprons and covers with few seams.

Applications
Electronics plants use AF0127 for ESD aprons at wave-solder and rework stations, for covers over SMT magazines and racks, and for outer workwear in wet or spark-prone areas. It is a workwear and cover cloth, not a cleanroom garment fabric; for coveralls choose our light polyester twills instead.
Frequently asked questions
Which flame-retardant standard does the coating meet?
The PU coating carries a flame-retardant treatment. If your site specification names a standard such as EN ISO 11612 or NFPA 2112, tell us which one and we will confirm the batch test report before quoting, rather than assuming.
Is it fully waterproof?
The coated face repels water and light splashes. However, it is not a chemical barrier, so use chemical PPE over it where solvents or acids are handled.
Can it be laundered?
Yes, on a gentle industrial cycle without softener. The conductive filament is woven in, so the ESD property is permanent, although the coating wears gradually over many washes.
