Description
This cleanroom ESD coverall is a finished garment made from our AF0060 5 mm stripe fabric: 99% polyester with 1% carbon conductive filament at 110 gsm, sewn with conductive thread, with an attached hood and a Velcro front closure. Phil Industries makes it to order in Singapore for Class 1000 to 10000 cleanrooms, in white, blue, pink, yellow, green or orange, and supplies it from Ubi.
Why this construction for a cleanroom coverall
A coverall works as a system. The 5 mm carbon stripe in the body cloth keeps every panel static dissipative at 10⁶ to 10⁹ Ω, and conductive thread carries that path across every seam. The attached hood closes the gap at the neck where particles escape, and the Velcro front lets an operator gown quickly without metal snaps that could scratch product. As a result, the garment passes a point-to-point test and keeps the room clean.
The 110 gsm polyester twill is shrink-resistant and tear-resistant, so the coverall holds its size and shape through cleanroom laundering. In addition, six colours let a plant colour-code by area, shift or visitor status on one garment specification.

Applications
Semiconductor, disk-drive, optics, electronics and pharmaceutical plants issue this coverall for Class 1000 to 10000 cleanrooms, and EPAs use it as full-body ESD workwear. Pair it with our ESD cleanroom boots and hoods, or ask for the same garment in our 5 mm grid or fluid-repellent cloths.
Frequently asked questions
Can you make it in a different fabric or closure?
Yes. The same pattern is available in our 5 mm grid, conductive-filament grid and fluid-repellent cloths, with a zip front instead of Velcro, and with or without the hood. Tell us your cleanroom class and gowning procedure.
Does it come tested?
We supply a fabric resistivity report with each batch. Garment-level testing to ANSI/ESD STM2.1 or IEC 61340-4-9 can be arranged on request, and we recommend it for garments entering an ANSI/ESD S20.20 programme.
How should it be laundered?
On a cleanroom laundry cycle without fabric softener. The carbon filament is woven in and the seams use conductive thread, so the ESD property is permanent.
